Psychedelic

Psychedelic is any kind visual artwork inspired by psychedelic experiences. The word "psychedelic" means "mind manifesting". By that definition all artistic efforts to depict the inner world of the psyche maybe considered "psychedelic". In common parlance "Psychedelic Art" refers to the art movement of the late 1960's counterculture. Psychedelic art were a counterpart to psychedelic rock music.

PS. I really was not thinking about the '60s when I designed this wallpaper, but certain people who have commented on this wallpaper apparently think that I was. lol I have to admit that I was a child of the '60s. I even decided that I wanted to be a flower child when I grew up. :P I was disappointed when I got old enough to be one & discovered that the hippies and the flower children had turned into yuppies...

So here is a very short, sweet, groovy '60s song for those of you who chose to click on it. Enjoy it! :D
