Quintessential

will be a slightly different style of group. I’m hoping it engenders a sense of sharing. Sharing the emotional content of our uploads.

Quintessential means “the pure essential essence or the perfect embodiment of a thing“.

Pieces that have an emotive fascination for YOU. Those are the submissions I would like for this Group. Images that truly mean something to YOU. That brings to mind a memory that had faded or been forgotten. Evoked a strong feeling when you first saw it. Made you stop and wonder at the imagery someone could create.

I’d love to see the images from your upload libraries that YOU believe are the most beautiful and have the most to say to those who view them. Something that made you go back, again and again, to look at them. I’m also hoping that we will take some of our time to wander through other Members upload libraries and find images that bring out the same sense of wonder and passion in us that we feel about some of our own uploads.  Send that Member a PM and link the images you find that speak to you. Ask them to add the images to the group for you, and thank them for sharing them with all of us. I know this takes time but I feel strongly that it is worth the effort.  It's is a nice way to spend a few relaxing minutes or hours appreciating something meaningful and showing others a little appreciation at the same time.
