Leap Year-LEAP DAY

Leap Years come once every 4 years. There are 366 days in the year instead of the usual 365. The extra day is added on in February, the shortest calendar month. Instead of 28 days in the month, there are 29.

Leap DAY, February 29th, comes only once every 4 years, so it is not a very common day at all. I thought it would be fun do have a group about Leap Day.

Wallpaper Description:

I have loved merry-go-rounds for my entire life. One of my favorite ones is an antique carousel at Greenfield Village in Dearborn Michigan. The carousel, built in 1913, is 100 years old this year.

This photograph that I took features a patriotic horse. The horse's tail is made of real horse hair.

You can also see a rooster, 2 giraffes, and other horses in the wallpaper as well as murals in the background.
