Leap Year-LEAP DAY

Leap Years come once every 4 years. There are 366 days in the year instead of the usual 365. The extra day is added on in February, the shortest calendar month. Instead of 28 days in the month, there are 29.

Leap DAY, February 29th, comes only once every 4 years, so it is not a very common day at all. I thought it would be fun do have a group about Leap Day.

(Your wallpapers will Not have to be homemade, although they can be. I just included "homemades" so this group will appear with my other groups on wallpaper search pages)

KINDS OF WALLPAPERS THAT FIT INTO THIS GROUP
1. Any wallpaper that shows an animal(s) or human(s) leaping or jumping over something or into the air. Photographs, artworks, cartoons, or abstracts are all fine.

2. Any photograph, artwork, cartoon or abstract with words on it about leap day or leap year.

3. Any wallpaper featuring a person who was born or who passed away on leap day. Some people who were born on Leap Day are Chris Conley, Jimmy Dorsey, Dinah Shore, Wendy Peters, Pope Paul III, Tony Robbins, Carlos H. Romero, Al Rosen, Gioachino Rossini, Ja Rule, Antonio Sabato Jr.and Saul Williams.

4. Any wallpaper that has a Desktop Nexus February 29 date stamp is very welcome, BUT please observe the following guidelines:

Make sure that your wallpapers follow the Desktop Nexus Guidelines. If any are borderline, I won't keep them in the group.
Some of you may upload large quantities of walls on a regular basis. If you happen to have uploaded a lot of walls on a February 29th Leap Day, please limit the walls you add to 35 of your favorites. (If you wish to contribute more than 35, send me a PM and I'll consider making an exception.) The years 2012, 2016, and of course, 2020 all have February 29th Leap Days. If you have been around DN for awhile, have fun checking your older walls for February 29th Leap Day dates! :D

5. If you can think of any other ideas for Leap Day February 29th wallpapers, feel free to suggest them in the Discussions or in a PM. :)
