A little bit of a personal photo collage with bits of history, things and people I like and dis-liked, events I did not even know about like the movie actresses Hedy Lamarr who help co-invent an early technique for spread spectrum communications and frequency hopping, necessary for todays wireless communication from the pre-computer age to the present day.

The origins of collage can be traced back hundreds of years, but this technique made a dramatic reappearance in the early 20th century as an art form. The term collage derives from the French "colle" meaning "glue". This term was coined by both Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso in the beginning of the 20th century when collage became a distinctive part of modern art.
