The Angelic Zebra

I have loved merry-go-rounds since I was little. I've never really out grown them... There is a shopping mall near my home that has a beautiful double decker carousel, with a lot of interesting animals on it. The photographs on these carousel walls were all taken by me or my husband about a year ago.

This Zebra photo turned out to be a happy accident! I took a picture of this zebra when the carousel was not moving. Later when I got home, I realized a chandelier was positioned over his head-- just like an angel's halo! (Another chandelier further down the line looks a bit like a yellow butterfly hovering over his nose.)

No doubt he was the most well behaved animal on the merry-go-round that day...
