H20, liquid water is an essential life force. However, when combined with mother nature's volatile temper, it can also wreak havoc and destruction. Beautiful, serene, torrential, wet... - all possibilities to describe a landscape experiencing a good down pour. Raindrops on roses...

Rain is the liquid, water droplet form of H20, resulting from the condensation of atmospheric water vapor to a concentration heavy enough for gravity to pull it down.  From the monsoons in India to the deserts in the western United States, diverse geographies and the flora and fauna living there require it - albeit in varying quantities, to support the unique local ecosystems.
