Photo manipulations or airbrushing can be dated back to the 1860’s when a photo of Abraham Lincoln was manipulated using the body from an image of John C. Calhoun. With today’s image editing software and digital cameras anyone can enjoy photo editing. This group is for those who CREATE THEIR OWN WALLPAPERS to upload. Today’s most common desktop screen resolution is 1920x1080
( 16:9 aspect ratio), before that 1680x1050 (16:10 aspect ratio), and before
that was 1024x768 (aspect ratio 4:3). Today the most common screen size is
1366x768 ( 16:9 aspect ratio) with laptops and tablets. With this in mind, if
you are creating wallpapers to share then the 16:9 aspect ratio is best. 

 Image sizes of 1366x768, 1600x900, 1920x1080, and
2560x1440 are 16:9 aspect ratio, or just really large resolutions...
