Orange and Green

Orange is the color between yellow and red on the spectrum of visible light. In painting and traditional color theory, it is a secondary color of pigments, created by mixing yellow and red. It is named after the fruit of the same name.

Green is the color between blue and yellow on the visible spectrum. In subtractive color systems, used in painting and color printing, it is created by a combination of yellow and blue, or yellow and cyan. By far the largest contributor to green in nature is chlorophyll, the chemical by which plants photosynthesize and convert sunlight into chemical energy.

Wallpaper Description:

I had a hard time picking out a name for this wallpaper. There Is a beautiful ornament with colorful butterf1ies, but there is also a lovely floral one, candles, beads, a star, a heart, and other things.

This photograph was taken at the Bronners Christmas store in Frankenmuth, Michigan. Bronners is known for its year 'round Christmas displays. They have a permanent 27 acre outdoor colorful 100,000-light display. They also have indoor displays all over their huge store---with every subject imaginable! There are over 800 large animated figures.

This photo is part of one of their beautifully decorated Christmas trees. I blurred it a little on the left to make icons easier to read.
