Wildflower watchers everywhere celebrate when springtime lupines come into bloom, heralding the flowers' appearance with tours and festivals from Maine to California. Their telltale look is a tall, showy spire of flowers that can come in a multitude of color varieties with impressive grayish-green textured foliage. The genus includes over 200 species, with centers of diversity in North and South America. The dense floral spikes may be shades of purple, pink, red, white, and yellow. The foliage resembles palm leaves, with seven to ten leaflet segments each. There is a wide variety of colors and mixed colors in the flowers.
Please, only Lupine flowers in this group. Thank you for your consideration. There are many varieties to choose from.
