Lovely Lavenders

Lavandula is a genus of 39 species of flowering plants in the mint family, Lamiaceae. It is native to the Old World and is found from Cape Verde and blah, blah. This group is about Lavender in a wider sense of a word. IOW all lavender things.

Many people love lavender for its color, scent, and usefulness. This is nostalgia page, so bring all you lavender things to one place.

How do I know that my image fits the description of the group? If it has the word lavender in it's title, it fits. It may be a lavender color bracelet, shirt, dress, shoes, bag, hat, umbrella, flower, car, etc.

How do I know if you will define the color of my image as LAVENDER!

ALL MAUVE, LILAC, PURPLE shades will fit whether these are hot or cold shades.
The image must invoke you to think of lavenders. Images of lavender soap, candles, tablecloths, real flowers, etc., are ALL WELCOME!
