How I got my photograph:
In late May earlier this year, an unusual guest started checking out the bird feeders in my mother's backyard. Although this wild turkey couldn't get seed directly from the feeders, he was quite happy to eat what fell on the ground beneath them! I was at her house when he showed up one day and was ready with my camera. This is one of my favorite photos.
