Brooks-Streams-Creeks

This is a group that you post all your lovely images of brooks, streams and creeks. Please do not include large rivers.

All photos, paintings, artworks, digital arts of brooks, streams and creeks are welcome here.

Submissions MUST be of high quality and excellent resolution--crisp and clean. Please follow these and all DN rules. The smallest body of water is the brook , a natural stream of water that is found aboveground and is often called a creek as well. A brook is usually a tributary (a small body of water that naturally flows into a large one) of a river, but this is not always the case.  A brook is characterized by its shallowness and its bed being composed primarily of rocks. A stream is smaller than a creek , especially one that is fed by a spring or seep. It is usually small and easily forded. A creek is a stream — like a river, but smaller — and if you grew up in the TV version of rural America, you probably had a creek babbling through your backyard ... Rules: 1. Post only images having to do with brooks, streams and creeks--not full rivers. 2.  Submissions MUST be of high quality and excellent resolution--crisp and clean. 2. Follow all Nexus Rules for posting SPECIAL NOTE: Do not attempt to repost an image that has been removed.  Images are pulled only if they do not follow group and Nexus guidelines for posting.  Doing this will lead to a warning, following by being banned.
