... along with many other trees! But the scarlet tree is a standout.

It's some kind of maple tree, but I'm not positive about what kind, because I took this photo a couple of years ago. Sometime I'll have to go back and check.

I was amazed at how tall and skinny some of these trees were! I photographed this at a nature preserve in my area.
