Desktop Nexus first came online in late 2006 with a mission: to revolutionize the computer wallpaper industry. We spent thousands and thousands of hours, working night and day, on a shoestring budget, driven only by our passion. Now, just two years later, we're well on our way. Every day Desktop Nexus is growing in visitors... slowly building the absolute best source for high-quality computer backgrounds on the entire internet.

However, with our remarkable growth has come remarkable (expensive) monthly server bills. We've received a number of emails offering contributions, showing generosity and gratitude for this resource we've developed. At first we were flattered, kindly declining the offers, however as the bills kept increasing, we decided to begin accepting donations with the highest levels of appreciation.
