Wallpaper Description:

When I saw my first Bob Ross “Joy of Painting” show, I was fascinated. I found out when they aired and tuned in without fail every week. I started doing some drawing and painting because of his program. I loved the way that he'd introduce baby squirrels and other animals on his show sometimes, because I love animals too. I began thinking about getting in touch with him.

It was a sad day for me when I realized that I would never get a chance to meet him in person. He passed away from cancer in July of 1995. I found out about him 7 years too late.

I agree with so many of the things that he said on his shows. Every tree should have a friend! Many mistakes do turn out to be “happy accidents.” And you can definitely create your own little world whenever you do an art project. I have found this to be especially true with computer graphic art.

When I made this Abstract Valley design, I thought that this would be a neat wallpaper to live in. But after I added plenty of drinking water to it, (all of the blue hues of course! :D) I felt like it still needed something. I put in a rainbow-- and then I knew that the valley needed one more thing to make it complete. So I added a little cabin for Bob near the bottom of the wallpaper. :)

PS. If you are having trouble seeing the cabin, enlarge the wallpaper. It is almost in the middle of the wallpaper, at the very bottom of the wall. :)
