Yellow and Purple

Yellow and purple are complimentary colors on a color wheel. They are often found in nature ie. on flowers. The reason why the two colors compliment each other is because purple comes from mixing blue and red, both of which are primary colors that oppose one another in intensity. This could be why they look so stunning together. Yellow is a pure hue, as is blue and red.

Wallpaper Description:

Okay...It isn't Exactly a Rainbow in Winter! It is a negative look at my original photo... but not an exact one. I enhanced it by making the sky violet, for some purple loving friends of mine, and I played with some of the other colors too.
