Welcome to Yellow and Pink Flowers Group
Its been said by some reputable gardeners that pink and yellow flowers don't look nice together. I've found lots of people who disagree with that dictum. So... if you are on our side, this is what you can send here:
Images of flowers that have both colors on a "one" flower
Images of flowers with both colors, but separately
Images of either pink or, yellow flowers
Meaning of colors:
Yellow; In almost every culture yellow represents sunshine, happiness, and warmth. It is a most found color in flowers. Mixed with pink, it represents energy of the youth.
Pink; "Pink is a pale shade of red that is named after a flower of the same name. It was first used as a color name in the late 17th century. According to surveys in Europe and the United States, pink is the color most often associated with charm, politeness, sensitivity, tenderness, sweetness, childhood, femininity and romance." Wikipedia
Cosmos is a genus, with the same common name of Cosmos, consisting of flowering plants in the sunflower family. Cosmos is native to scrub and meadowland in Mexico where most of the species occur, as well as the United States], as far north as the Olympic Pennsula in Washington, Central America, and to South America as far south as Paraguay. One species, C. bipinnatus, is naturalized across much of the eastern United States and eastern Canada. It is also widespread over the high eastern plains of South Africa, where it was introduced via contaminated horse feed imported from Argentina during the Anglo-Boer War._Wikipedia
