Violet Shades

Violet is a bright bluish purple color that takes its name from the violet flower. On the traditional color wheel used by painters, it is located between blue and purple.

Violet is at the lower end of spectrum of light, with a wavelength between approximately 380-450 nanometers. Light with a lower wavelength is called ultra-violet, and is invisible.

In western culture, violet is the color most commonly associated with the extravagant, the individualist, ambiguity, the unconventional, and the artificial.

Wallpaper Description:

Hi Everybody! :D

My Group Avatar and Header/Cover Image will not upload properly. So I decided to create a way for group members to see what they look like even if they won't show up where they are supposed to. I've made wallpapers out of them.

I spent hours creating this Cover Image for the group. I had a font for all of the signs, but I had to color all of them myself. Also I created both traffic light images, the little traffic light sign and the mock up of the Avatar, from scratch. The photograph is my own. It was disappointing, to say the least, when it didn't appear on the Group page.

It would be very cheering for me if you would enlarge the wallpaper, take a look at it, and maybe even leave a comment. You may even decide to join the group! :D Here is the Group Link:

I've been trying to contact people about getting this problem fixed for nearly 2 days, and I haven't had any luck yet. Maybe if this wallpaper appears on Homepage, the DN programming wizards will see the problem! :) Already 2 other groups that just got created are missing their Avatar and Cover Images...:( Also, post in the DN group in discussions... I've already started one. Let's see what we can do to help solve this problem! :D
