Traffic Signals nSigns

For many years, I've been extremely interested in traffic lights and railroad grade crossings. I've also been very interested in traffic & road signs and in the ways that they've changed over the years. For example, I remember when triangular Yield Signs in Michigan used to be a deep yellow with navy blue lettering. Now they are red & white... and I still miss the old ones!

Take a look at the Header and the Avatar to this group, and you'll have a pretty good idea of what kind of wallpapers to put here.

UPDATE: Since the Avatar & the Header/Cover Image Refused to load properly, I have made them into Wallpapers. If you click on the Journal Post Link in Group Details, you will see them. Also in this journal post are great examples of what I am looking for. You may discover that some of your own wallpapers have been used as examples! :D

Wallpaper submissions will be monitored... but don't worry, this group will be checked very frequently! I'm very excited about this group and am looking forward to seeing what is contributed. : )

Hi Everybody!

My Group Avatar and Header/Cover Image will not upload properly. So I decided to create a way for group members to see what they look like even if they won't show up where they are supposed to. I've made wallpapers out of them.

I spent hours creating this Cover Image for the group. I had a font for all of the signs, but I had to color all of them myself. Also I created both traffic light images, the little traffic light sign and the mock up of the Avatar, from scratch. The photograph is my own. It was disappointing, to say the least, when it didn't appear on the Group page.

It would be very cheering for me if you would enlarge the wallpaper, take a look at it, and maybe even leave a comment. You may even decide to join the group! Here is the Group Link:

TO ALL GROUP LEADERS & GROUP MEMBERS: If you vote up and favorite this wallpaper, maybe we can boost it to the home page. I've been trying to contact people about getting this problem fixed for nearly 2 days, and I haven't had any luck yet. Maybe if this wallpaper appears on Homepage, the DN programming wizards will see the problem! Already 2 other groups that just got created are missing their Avatar and Cover Images... Also, post in the DN group in discussions... I've already started one. Let's see what we can do to help solve this problem!
