The Darkside

Lucille80 and I were just discussing this, and i thought this might make for an interesting discussion on the darkside's thread..."Old Hag Syndrome," where you are half asleep and half awake. Yeah, I've experienced it, and the "old hag" title for this experience, a title given to it hundreds of years ago, is spot on accurate. I did experience something evil, female and old, that grabbed at my throat and squeezed as my motionless, yet cognizant, mind could do nothing to dissipate from its terror. It scared me so bad that I had to go downstairs to one of my neighbor's apartments just to stay awake. Now, looking back on it however, maybe it was because there was a chance of being woken up...
