Keeping Warm Hues Separate From Cool Hues Isn't Always Easy!

This group is truly a learning experience for me! As I said in my introduction, I want to give the warm colors of the color spectrum equal time with the cool hues in my other "color" group. But I am finding out that in nature, the colors red, orange, yellow, and brown, often occur with blue, green, and purple! So sticking to warm colors only in a wallpaper is harder than I thought it would be.
I didn't have this problem as much with my Cool Hues group. Think about it... The grass is green and the sky is blue. Therefore, many landscape walls are already biased towards the Cool side.
Just a few minutes ago, I added a golden leafed Autumn tree to this group. The sky in the wall is a cheerful blue color. Chances are that any Autumn wallpapers you have also have a cheerful blue sky!
Sunrises and sunsets are another example. They almost always have wonderful warm tones in them, but they also can have violet hues along with the warm tones.
Flowers are another great example of how cool colors like to get involved with warm ones. Red roses, golden daffodils, and scarlet poppies all have green leaves!
So, we will have many lovely wallpapers in our group that aren't totally warm. My guess is that of the walls that are totally warm hued, most of them will be Abstracts.
That's fine with me! I'll enjoy them all. Maybe I will take a survey, of the types of walls there are after more are added to the group. :)
By the way, if you can think of other times in Nature that warm and cool colors like to hang out together, please ring in! :D
