Pumpkins And Gourds

Gourd is occasionally used to describe crop plants in the family Cucurbitaceae, like pumpkins, cucumbers, squash, luffa, and melons. More specifically, gourd refers to the fruits of plants in the two Cucurbitaceae genera Lagenaria and Cucurbita, or also to their hollow, dried-out shell.A pumpkin is a cultivar of a squash plant, most commonly of Cucurbita pepo, that is round, with smooth, slightly ribbed skin, and deep yellow to orange coloration. The thick shell contains the seeds and pulp.

Wallpaper Description:

I had a strange and rather sad Halloween this year. The death of one of my uncles hit our family pretty hard. I am thankful that I can upload at least one Halloween wallpaper even if it is a day late. I named it what I did because I doubt that any more Halloween wallpapers will come in until next year.
