Photo Manipulations

This group is for those who CREATE THEIR OWN WALLPAPERS

Photo manipulations or airbrushing can be dated back to the 1860’s when a photo of Abraham Lincoln was manipulated using the body from an image of John C. Calhoun. With today’s image editing software and digital cameras anyone can enjoy photo editing. This group is for those who CREATE THEIR OWN WALLPAPERS to upload. The images can be of just about anything you like as long as it is of at least three elements or more blended together to create something new.

Free photo editing software

Aloha All: I wanted to share some free photo editing software I like, it's called Paint.NET. I just down loaded the latest version of it and opened it up and the interface is very much like a Photoshop. It seems very user friendly and intuitive. Really it seems like a small version of photoshop.

You'll be able to do all basic photo edits; improve color, edit image to different resolutions, crop, and work with layers.
Layers are were the magic is found, when you learn to cut and paste, blend things together and a few simple rules about photo editing you'll be making nice wallpapers.

If you would like to learn a little about photo editing I'm willing to help. Just send me a PM and I will answer any questions you have. Paint.NET is the perfect image editor for people who want to learn to create their own wallpapers.
Enjoy :)
