Petunias

The petunia is a great flower that is in a very interesting genus of flowering plants. The petunia actually shares its family with plants like tomatoes, potatoes, chili peppers, tobacco, and many others. Most of the flowers that you see for the petunias are actually hybrids that are mixes of the petunia and some other flowers to make cultivation a lot easier. The petunia is generally a blossoming flower that has different size flowers. Some of them will have larger blossoms and others will be smaller. You will find that the colors of the petunias will vary and some will be white, purple, pink, or darker.
