Actually, this cardinal wasn't caught doing anything wrong... in fact he didn't even know that I snapped this photograph of him. :P :D

The real story behind this photo is that I had just leaped into my car and slammed the door shut on about 20 mosquitoes. They've been terrible in Michigan this summer. I had gone to this place and lasted only about 20 minutes before I gave up and dashed into my car to avoid getting bitten. When I saw the cardinal in the bushes, I snapped some photos of him-- this was the only one that came out well. It was a nice consolation prize for my mosquito dodging.
