Orange Red and Green

Orange represents: the color of sunset, fruit, vegetables, joy, friendship...

Red represents: the color of fire, zest for life (is the color of; wine, fruit and blood)

Green represent: healing power of nature, security, health, loyalty and patriotism, etc.

This combination is a favorite in marketing, educational campus, sport teams and events and anything fighting for the instant appeal promising a sense of safety, mixed with excitement. Many photographers use this color combinations in their work.

Wallpaper Description:

This is basically an enlarged portion of my Spin the Flowers wallpaper.

Although I didn't plan for this to look like a design from the late 1960's, it does look like it could be from that era. I have always loved bright colors and designs, so maybe that era has rubbed off on me. :)

I was growing up back then, I thought that hippies and flowerchildren were pretty cool. I even decided that I wanted to be a flowerchild when I grew up. But by the time I was actually old enough to go to protest rallys, sit ins, and music festivals, it was the mid 70's, and times had changed. Furthermore, I was struggling to adjust to college and was in a difficult battle to keep my grades up. Just when I finally felt like I was getting the hang of college, it was graduation time...:P

I could not help thinking about my DN friend apopkaflowerchild/Joyce when I made this wallpaper. We have had fun discussing the hippie era. She's a little older than I am and she almost made it to the famous Woodstock music festival! Anyway, she got a lot closer to it than I ever did. :)

She hasn't logged in for about 3 weeks, but I am confident that I will be hearing from her again soon. :D

(I made this wallpaper at a 1680x 1050 resolution, but it also looks fine on my 1920 x 1080 screen. If you have either of these screen resolutions, you can download the original wallpaper for sure. :))
