Who is your favorite N.G.E character?

For me its always been Auska (original and Angelic Days versions). Though I don't care for some of her new look or the twisted look that Studio WETA had for live-action version (that thankfully fell through).

Rei is my all time favorite anime character :). On the inside she is struggling to understand herself. The moments when she does open up and smile are some of my favorite scenes :3. In anime I prefer the quiet and mysterious type characters more than the outgoing popular types :P. However, I do like Asuka as well. You have to feel sorry for her by the end of the series. What happened in her childhood was so sad :(.

Live-action version? How would they have done the Eva's? O_o

If you have the director's cut dvd's with the reworked last 6 episodes, it has some of the images they were going for. There should also be a few sites still showing them also, but you might have to search alittle. And the Evas weren't too bad, at least the later images I saw of them (not far off the originals).

Hi ChiharuAiki :). Yup it is awesome in my opinion. Maybe not everyone's type of thing but at least worth trying. If you haven't seen it before I'd recommend starting with the remake movies - Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone through to Evangelion: 4.0. The manga was originally created by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto in 1994. The anime was licensed in 1995 by Gainax and Hideaki Anno was the director and wrote the script.
