Nature Protection

This Group is about Animal- and Natureprotection.
Nature can exist without humans very well, but humans can not exist without nature. A healthy nature is the basic of our existence.
----------
This group is for all nature PROTECTION related walls: vulnerabled / endangered plants, animals, air, geographics, water- all what the human is exterminating and/or destroying on our earth day by day.
----------
Even hotel complexes and tulipfields are very beautiful , they are not vulnerabled. :-) and therefore not to protect.

I didn't notice this fantastic group earlier, but now that I have, I am very happy to join in and to send any walls that celebrate the most beautiful nature in existence in the whole Universe, this Earth. :) For very similar reasons I have started sometime ago a group called; Ecosystems.

Yes, its so very easy to end some poor creature's life with one effortless sweep of our hand. We humans feel that being on the top of living organisms gives us the right to do with them as we please. But that mentality leads to practices that will eventually endanger and possibly collapse the whole system of life on Earth. We are already destroying our planet thru a century of bad industrial practices like polluting the air we and other creatures breath, and water we and other creatures drink to a very unhealthy levels. What are the consequences? More and more people suffer from lung, skin and digestive problems. We are altering the natural environment on which we depend for life. Yes, we're still here, but nor for a very long time, sadly. We have to rethink our attitudes, change our mentality and act before it is too late. This is no time to be complacent. We all ought to do what we can to minimize destroying the nature, our only home, this planet.

dear emma, it seems, all to say is said by your comment.

EDWARD O. WILSON, the "father of Biodiversity" said:

"If all mankind were to disappear, the world would regenerate back to the rich state of equilibrium that existed ten thousand years ago. If insects were to vanish, the environment would collapse into chaos."
EACH day about 130 animal and plant species are ceasing / being condemned to extinction.

I guess it for really contradictory that human goes to mars to install an ecosystem there while destroying the perfect existing ecosystem on earth, all by one reason only: money, for-profit.
And 1% of world's population is owning 99% of world's assets.

You've hit the nail on the head, Judy. NASA is spending billions of dollars on programs and developing new technology searching for life on other planets (Mars, Europa)and to what end? Even if we could colonize other planets, and I'm not convinced that we can do that, the fact that we can't look properly after the one we're on proves that we're not fit to go anywhere yet. The money should be spent to solve other problems of this world. There should be environmental awareness programs set in place in every nook and cranny of this world... or ALL will be lost.
