MLP: Friendship is Magic

I thought I'd start up a few more dicussions on here to get things going <3
Anyway, what do you guys think about the first MLP:FiM film, Equestria girls?? I just love the music in it, especially 'Helping Twilight Win the Crown' and 'Time to Come Together'!

Helping Twilight Win The Crown is so absurdly catchy that it needs to be banned.. just kidding. I love the song myself and it is the first song in my playlist that plays when I leave work :)

The film itself had its ups and downs though.
One thing I really liked was the magical girl transformation (because I like magical girls~) and the lovely small things like a cute dancing Sweetie Belle (next to our favourite dancing chicken), the Sweetie Bot Vending Maschine and Vinyls and Trixies scenes.

One of the biggest downs imho is the animation. It just feels plain weird. The only other thing that really bugged me about it was the endstory about Sunset Shimmer. I like the character but her "cleansing" in the end (along with that aweful tearsoaked face) just killed it for me :/
(I still like her Character Design and really want to see her, Trixie and Twilight in a cooperation magic episode ^^)

Lol I have to agree with its catchy-ness XD I often find myself trying to learn the words but getting my tongue tied in the first verse where they go 'But if you look a little deeper' XD I'm not much with the singing XD

And lol, I liked the transformations even though I'm not usually fond of magical girls XD but that might be from all the anime i watched where they spoilt it at times by being crude -_-
I did kinda like the irony in the Trixie scene though where it was hinting that Trixie was amaaazing just as she knew how to use the machine XD

And i think the ending was okay, but i think they should have ended it earlier, as it seemed to go on longer as they added extra bits that it didn't actually need x Although i thought the ending with her seeing Flash Sentry :3
And yeah i suppose, but we've seen Trixie twice in main episodes already, i think maybe they should introduce another backing character ;)
