Former HMS Whelp W class destroyer. Refitted with accommdationfor two Wasp ASW helicopters. All main guns replaced with double 4.7 in in A and Y positions. Prince Phillip served on this destroyer in the far east unti 1946. She was sold to the South African Navy the same year.
