Outta personal experience with running of many groups myself, I will be bold to go and say this; description of any group should be short and evident in its title. If we elaborate too much on what is acceptable and what isn't, it will go unnoticed and quickly forgotten by most of the members. It is not that members don't bother reading descriptions, but that this information can be easily forgotten, especially if you belong to many, many groups, as I do.

My point is; make description easy to remember by fitting it with the name of the group because that is what members will remember, and not our descriptions. And who has the time to keep checking this over and over again? I don't.

On reposting; I've done it myself hundreds of times. Not out of spite but because most of the time I am not even aware that I have done it. So what I do in my groups is this; I remove the images that do not fit description of the group, but I view most of them as an innocent mistake on a part of a member. After all, we're only human.

Groups serve three major purposes; to categorize images for easier find of searchers, to bring members together by giving them an opportunity to share their uploads with each other, and finally to increase the downloading of these images.

This is why it is important that groups are friendly and fun to belong to, and that there should be no fear of you doing something wrong and then perhaps being banned. No one likes stress. Let us not forget, our members are doing us (leaders) a favor by supporting our groups. Making them happy to stay should be our priority.

On the other hand, no one should be too sensitive if some of their images are removed. We do want to stay within the purpose of the group after all.

Luv to ALL MEMBERS and to our Leader!

Thank you Emma for your input. I believe the welcome side and the rules are now made as simple to read as possible. If any questions still remain, please feel free to pm me or post the question here on group.

Hugs to all and thank you for your support while I learn right along with you.
