Europe

Europe is a continent that comprises the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia. It is generally divided from Asia by the watershed divides of the Ural and Caucasus Mountains, the Ural River, the Caspian and Black Seas, and the waterways connecting the Black and Aegean Seas.[3]

Europe is bordered by the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west, the Mediterranean Sea to the south, and the Black Sea and connected waterways to the southeast. Yet the borders of Europe—a concept dating back to classical antiquity—are arbitrary, as the primarily physiographic term "continent" also incorporates cultural and political elements.

Wallpaper Description:

In the commune of Les Baux-de-Provence in southern France sits the Carri�res de Lumi�res, or Quarries of Lights. A former limestone quarry that closed down in the 1930s, the site has been transformed into an immersive multimedia exhibit space dedicated to art and music. Projectors mounted around the quarry paint the walls, ceiling, and floors with light, bringing both still and animated images of artwork to life across the entire space. Gathered here are images from recent exhibitions, featuring artwork from van Gogh, Klimt, da Vinci, and many other artists.
