Aloha: Many here would love to know the status of our beloved site: About how long tell 100% and will there be any more visible repairs!

Agreed - please let us know more details and how much more time it will take to correct.

DN is one of the world's largest sites of this kind and it seems strange that after a month we are still at the starting point, someone outside has violated the privacy of Nexus? or a Virus has blown up the system?
If you kindly we have an answer as plausible as possible, we would be grateful.

I HAVE BEEN WONDERING THE SAME THING MYSELF, WILL ALL OUR UPLOADS BE RESTORED OR LOST FOREVER. I AM WAITING TO UPLOAD BUT BEEN HOLDING OFF UNTIL PROBLEM HAS BEEN FIXED. WHEN WILL THAT BE?

Bien le Bonjour, yes big problems too with this site since 1 month. That since all this time nothing is settled, is pretty amazing and weird !...wait and see !

I have also had thoughts about why the site is in this state. This isn't the first time. However, we must all consider that we access and use it for free. It's my experience that costs to maintain a website is substantial and this may or may not be playing a role in it's slow return to normal. No matter the reason, I think our choice is to wait it out or not? Hopefully some info will be forthcoming.

I would also like to know how it goes.
It is really sad to see empty boxes everywhere instead of pictures.
Everything was restored last time, and I hope it works this time as well.
PS. I have a copy of my main cell phone numbers .... for emergencies.
That certainly exists with DN also.
A (posive) message would make the waiting time easier

I have respectfully written to you twice since this massive crash and no one got back. It certaintly looks like I’m not the only one greatly concerned about the condition of DN. What I can’t understand is why you are leaving us in the dark. I believe we have a right to know what’s happening through an update or a response here. Our uploads are what made this site grow to one of the largest wp sites around the world. I feel we should have the right to know where we stand. It out of respect to all our hard work, especially those who created WP’s from scratch, like myself. Please let us know where we stand, please.

It's for our entertainment .......let's start again.
But, it would be nice to get a " sorry, we couldn't fix it " , so we make a line under past and building new .

There was a lot of individuals who created their own WP’s and they did it for the enjoyment of knowing others appreciated it, too. Yes, it’s for our entertainment but what wp site would allow this to go so long without some explanation and if this site will ever be normal. Who in their right mind would upload WP’s to people who can’t download them?
