Delicate World

This is the group where you submit all your beautiful, delicate images. This includes anything in keeping with Nexus rules of posting as long as the wallpapers are delicate.

Delicate is defined in the Oxford Dictionary as:

Something very fine in texture or structure such as a delicate lace shawl. Intricate workmanship or quality such as trim on a handmade piece of furniture. Something easily broken or damaged such as fine china. Fragile such as a butterfly. Subdued colors such as delicate pastels. Highly sensitive such as a violin or piano. These are examples. You may use other things such as delicate pets (teacup pets?) and so on. Just think delicate and see what image your mind shows you, then find a picture to go with that.

Do you accept art or fantasy images and is it very important that overall color is soft/pastel?


Does 'delicate' means the whole look of the image plus the main object or, any combination (soft lace on a bride, but she's standing next to a harsh looking background)?

Yes, fantasy is acceptable as long as it is not overly revealing, the main image must be delicate in appearance. The surroundings may be more bright or harsh, as long as the main image is delicate. Yes, food is allowed as long as it is delicate like your example of sponge cake. The object in the images is to have a delicate main image, or entire image. Thank you for submitting your questions.
