Absolutely no nudity is permitted on Desktop Nexus. Uploading any image with visible nudity (even through clothing) is grounds for your account to be immediately banned. We have children on Desktop Nexus, so keep it family-friendly.

Additionally, we don't allow any image that is even sexually suggestive. These rules apply to both photographed models and carton/anime images. If the model is in a provocative pose or making a provocative gesture, it's not allowed. If the clothing/swimsuit/lingerie does not cover enough skin, it's not allowed (this immediately forbids any kind string or thong bikinis). If an intimate area (breasts, butt, crotch) is the focal point of the image, including excessively low-cut shirts, it's not allowed. We realize this is strict, but we truly believe it's the best for our community, ensuring Desktop Nexus maintains a positive and respectable brand.

We have recently started enforcing more strict rules on suggestive content and it is hard for some members to accept because unfortunately it's very opinion based (and a moderator always has the final decision). Please respect that we want to keep our community family-friendly for children, and being an international site with many different cultures from all around the world, there are varying levels of "acceptable" exposure. At Desktop Nexus we would rather edge on the conservative side, so please adhere to our guidelines, even if you personally disagree. There are many other image sites out there that allow uploading of risque content; we just do not want to be one of them.
