Coreopsis. Coreopsis /ˌkɒriːˈɒpsɪs/ is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae. Common names include calliopsis and tickseed, comes in about 100 varieties, and develops mass quantities of yellow, orange, rose, lavender, white, pink, red, tropical pinks, pumpkin orange, vivid gold, or bi-colored flowers through the early summer.
