Cat emotions and feelings

I know cats have feelings, My Thomo, when I scolded her, I found her on my bed with tears in her eyes, heavy tears, I picked her up, and after a while her tears stopped and she started to purr. Some people think that if they give their cat's away, that the cat doesn't car as long as they have food, that's not true, they have feeling. I think cats have feeling for us and would miss us. :)Edited by elisacatlover on 7/16/13 at 12:28am

Absolutely. Your Thomo sounds adorable :) My little Charlie is a 5 month old Russian Blue. He can be very playful and naughty but he's also very affectionate a loves cuddles.

Several months ago,we had to give up a Cat we had for awhile, Willie, because of some problems, he was making me sick. My heart is broke. He was a beautiful, big gray cat. Funny. He was my adults son, ( who lives with us ), best friend. Now it turns out we probably wouldn't have had to give him away, I'm not sure. I have felt so guilty, taking my sons beloved cat from him and I've worried so much over this. One of my biggest worries has been that, Willie has missed us, and that he thinks that we just dont care about him anymore, that we abandoned him. If I had it to do over again I wouldn't have let him go. We miss him terribly and want him back so bad, we truly love him. It would mean the world if we could have him back. He was adopted out of a no-kill animal shelter, right away.

I'm allergic to just about every animal, but that won't stop me from being owned by a cat. I lost my boy of 17 years this past summer. I'm still not over it. I miss him so much, I had him from the day he was born. You must be a member of this group to post replies.
