Cats are the most comforting pet...they love us back.

Cat are funny, they make me laugh. They comfort me.

I for one know that without my cats I'd be very lonely, sad & heartbroken.
My cats are part of my family. I call them my 'little peoples' lol.
I talk to them, cry with them, laugh with them and when they are sick I suffer with them (a long w/comforting them).

I have been around animals, esp cats, since I was born. There have always been animals, esp cats, around me and in my life since day one.

About ten years back I became a part of my friends non-profit org of trapping, rehabbing and re-homing stray, feral and homeless cats. Most of these cats can be rehabilitated & adoptable.
But there are those few, that have either been badly abused or born out there & wild and may become better with time, but will never fully recover one hundred percent. It was those that I kept with me and committed myself, my home, and my love to them till the day that they die. I have lost many to 'old age' which is a blessing and miracle because if I had not found them they would of died alone, out in the cold, unloved and homeless.

It is a lot of work, at times time consuming, expensive & financially challenging esp during these times, but I have made a promise, made a commitment to each and every one of them, that they will always have food, shelter, medical attention, and love for every single day of their life, and I will honor that promise every single day of their lives.

Where would I be without my cats???? I wouldn't be who I am today. ~kitten

Great job! Love people who love cats. Cats are so cute and friendly. Shame on people who mistreat them, especially young or old cats that often end up being abandoned and left far away from home. When they turn feral, then another mad group of people brings their guns, and shoots them down! Grrrr... I'd like to shoot them! Oops, getting myself worked up now, but you get the drift of what irks me, don't you?

I love cat's as well, and never could understand why some people are so nasty to them, I mean look, they may not like to be forced to be held or stay beside you, but if you leave them alone they will come to you on their own. when they love you, you won't be able to make them stop loving up on you. LOL they are sweet
