BGIV Cool Hues 4 U

I am a self admitted color freak. I love every color of the rainbow, and I love seeing all of the color spectrum in one wallpaper. But--

There is something special about the cool colors of the rainbow. They are restful and soothing to the eye. I love the way that my computer icons contrast with these colors.

Wallpapers in color combinations of blue, purple, violet, green, and indigo are welcome. Walls with an emphasis on just one of these colors are also fine. Think purple cows, blue cars, violet flowers, green leaves, etc. Abstracts in shades of a single cool color are good also.

Please try to keep warm colors, such as bright red, orange and yellow out of what you submit, unless they are a minor part of the wallpaper design.


I hope you enjoy this group. Just about anyone who uploads wallpapers from the web or makes homemades will have at least some walls that will fit into it. If you see any cool hued walls that you like on DN, tell the designer to come on in and be way cool with this group!

Wallpaper Description:

Okay all of you car experts, I need some help.
I know more about nature than I do about cars.  I found this beautiful automobile parked at one of my favorite nature centers. I could tell that someone had put a lot of time, work, and care into this one. I took several photos of it and kept hoping that it's owner would show up. Finally I had to give up and leave.

All I know for certain is that this car is a Chevrolet of some kind. There wasn't a year on it or anything.

I tried looking it up online when I got home. I believe this car is from the 1940s. The 1950s is also a possibility. That's all that I could figure out.

Can somebody on Desktop Nexus identify this auto for me? I would love to know what it is, and put it in a Car Group or two. If you know what kind of Chevy this is, and what year it is, please contact me by PM, on my profile, or by leaving a comment on this wallpaper. 
Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me out. I've been wondering what it is for a week now, and am almost bursting with curiosity!
