Rare Lost Butterfly

This is where you post all your fantastic wallpapers of butterflies that are either rare, endangered, or already lost to us (extinct). It is my hope we will raise awareness of the loss of beauty around us and become more involved. Please read below for additional information.

A rare species is a group of organisms that are very uncommon, scarce, or infrequently encountered. This designation is distinct from the term endangered. They are classified as "at risk."
Endangered species, any species that is at risk of extinction because of a sudden rapid decrease in its population or a loss of its critical habitat.
Extinct definition, no longer in existence
