Overview:
The highly acclaimed Neon Genesis Evangelion (or Evangelion for short) anime made its debut in Japan in 1995. The series was 26 episodes long followed by two movies. In 2007 Gainax released the first of what would be a four part movie remake of the series, named Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone. The manga has 14 volumes. It began publishing in 1994 and finished in 2013. Its genres are action, drama, mecha and psychological. More information at MyAnimeList.net.
