Sometimes, members make a mistake and post things they should not into a group. When this happens, I depend on my moderator (if I am not present myself) to make the proper decision whether or not to remove the images.

My personal feelings on this subject are that if necessary, I will ban a member for too many images. However, this does not mean it is a permanent ban. I may lift the ban at my discretion and allow the member another chance, if they wish to rejoin the group.

This was the case recently, and the ban was indeed lifted. I am not a hard person, and do not ban others for petty things. However, if the images break the rules of the group and Nexus itself, and my moderator makes the decision to remove a sizeable number of images from the group during my absence, I will visit the members profile page, review their images, and determine whether or not the ban will occur.

Once again, this is not always a permanent situation. I have lifted the most recent ban and it is now up to the individual if they wish to return to the group with the understanding they must follow group and Nexus rules.

I hope this clears up the messages I have been receiving lately.

I value each and every member in my group, and it is a hard decision to ban, but if I cannot enforce my own rules, what is the point in having the group?

Thank you for your understanding,
Joyce (grandma_gingerbread)
