Originality of newer animes?

Does anyone think that some of the newer animes are borrowing WAY to many ideas/concepts/etc from ones in the past? If so, what ones? Just curious as to other's opinions about this!

Yes I agree. Some of the newer ones that I've researched into and am going to give a miss include Is This A Zombie?, Infinite Stratos and Aria The Scarlet Ammo. They just seem too unoriginal. Luckily though there's still a lot to look forward too. Some new releases that I think have potential include Persona 4 The Animation, Steins;Gate, Deadman Wonderland and Shangri-La.Over the years there's always been anime that seem to copy ideas and concepts from each other, recently though I think it has gotten a bit worse but there's still lots that are unique :).
