I love summers here in Alberta the winters are very cold -35 c with out the wind chill and the days are short. Our summers are nice usually dry no humidity and the days are long it starts getting dark at 10:30 pm during the height of them lots of time to be out side at night, and usually by 4:00 am it is starting to get light temps are usually in the mid 20 celsius.

Winter's certainly my favourite. I don't mind -35 c as it could get even colder where i live and I just love the beauty and silence of this time of the year. Frost and coldness strenghten my soul and health, whereas i become sick of the hot temperatures in summer (I can't stand + 20 c).

My favorite time is the the autumn! When the days are warm and evenings are just a little on the cool side,all u need is a light jacket! And the colors reds,oranges,greens and browns the way the leaves crunch under your feet when you walk in the woods!!The smells!! Just the whole season of it all!

winter! the snow makes for slick road conditions(great fun in a bmw!). there is skiing, and snowmobiling, not to mention no mosquitoes or spiders!

There is something special about all four seasons. It's one of the reasons I left San Diego, CA. Fall is my most favorite time of year because of the cooler temperatures and the fall colors. I do really find winter to be very beautiful, depending upon where you are. In the cities it's usually dirty and annoying, but in the country the pristine snow, and the contrast between it and any object with color is awesome. I like to sit inside and watch the snow come down and drapes the trees and roof tops. Icicle formations are also awesome and I've enjoyed time spent photographing them. It is healthier if you use common sense.

I think that winter is better than summer because you can do something about the weather. If you're cold, put on a sweater and that kind of stuff and VIOLA!!! Problem solved. In the summer, all you can do is wear less clothes, but that's all you can do. It's still freakin' hot. And autumn over summer, since my birthday is in autumn and it's not too hot, not too cold, and the trees look fabulous.

winter rules!!!!! i love snowy days and nights....winter storms and sitting by the fireplace. above all no heat , sun or sweating!!!!!

I love winter, it's a romantic season... around the fireplace with someone special and some wine...lot of snow outside...
And above all as mentioned by others you can do something to heat up in winter, but in Summer... even if you're out of your skin it's still hot hot and getting hooottteeer.

I love Autumn and it's beautiful show of colors! Winter is my second choice for it's beautiful white and majestic showcase.
