Am I the only one who thinks that Obama's Nobel Peace prize is just a tad ironic considering it was handed out just after he agreed to send 30,000 more US troops to Afganistan to create a "surge" in the war?

Well, blood for peace. I don't have a problem with that. They wanted war they got war. Next time they will think about of how good of an idea it is to play with a tiger. If you know what I mean.

Simply siting and doing nothing and pretending peace, isn't peace either I'm afraid. I'm sure Obama got his good reasons.

This noble prize he recieved was based on the fact that he did nothing to deserve it. Knowing that he accepted it anyways shows how dishonest he is. Besides noble made explosives and stalin and hilter were nominated for the award zone he is in good company!!

The funniest part is that he got the prize just because he made a bunch of promises. Yuck

i totally agree. anyway what he did to get the "peace prize" well, isn't that what a president is suppose to do anyway!? it is a presidents job, right?

If you look at it the peace prize was actually bought by the fact that he need to gain some sort of political edge to say that he was a worth while president even when he had been in such a short time.

I didn't know the hypocrite had gotten the Nobel Peace Prize...My cat has done more that he has for that!!! Everything he's done is for his own agenda not for the wellfare of anyone else. Personally I think he's "the Beast" in Revelation.
