9 Replies December 2009 Job Creation Summit
| Posted by shieldmaiden, 11/14/09 5:23 PM - Permalink President Obama has scheduled another job creation summit for December. It would appear that the same individuals that participated in his previous discussions will be participating in this discussion as well.
With the unemployment rate at an all-time high, and continuing to rise, one could argue that his previous efforts have failed and that it will be nothing more than another photo-op for the participants. Do you think that anything will come out of these new discussions that will have a positive effect on unemployment numbers, or do you think numbers will continue to rise?
Please keep the discussion civil, and follow website rules of conduct.
Thanks. |

They estimate that another 5-8% have used up their benefits. I am suspicious of "statistics" as they can be manipulated to provide desired results. Personally, I think the numbers are understated. |

I'm not going to worry about it though. If it comes it's gonna come no matter what I say or do. I' just keep trying to do the best I can and be the best I can. |

| Posted by dualxseal, 8/26/10 10:11 AM - Permalink The president is going to create any jobs because he can't. People have allowed the goverment to crush its people with taxes, and everyone is scared of the looming tax increase so no one will hire anyone. Then you have to remember that obama care is still out there hanging over all business. The only way this is going to end is for the people of america to stop treating the united states goverment as there play thing and (or) like a friend and to treat it like the goverment. |
