MMM i like the Books more ,the movie is more designed for teens ,but still not bad, but i think look/read both and decide after that for yourfelf :), but to get a Feeling of other Vampire Storys mood read Ane Rice Vampir cronicals or bedder Bram Stoker s Original .for Movies my favord's are the old (1922) "Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens " or melt away with♥ Gary Oldman♥ as Drakula in Francis Ford Coppolas "Bram Stoker’s Dracula" ..♥BUSSI♥ Melanie

I think all the books will be better than the movies because they have more detail and because I don't need a screen to watch the movies. When I read the words in any book I see the movie that the author described in words. And I like what the authors point of view better than the director. But don't get me wrong, the movies are good too, I just prefer the books!! ~Ally Cull~

Books are definately better unless you can't read them or like moving pictures more than words

The book is better, because in the movie all the important details about they're relationship are erased, but that doesn't mean that the movie wasn't fantastic!

the book make the story and the movie give pictures of the story! the book is better because in the movie, it lacks many details! But I like watch the movie again, again and again ...

I like the books better, they are really, really great, these books are so easy to read,so interesting. When you start reading them you just don't want to stop... But the movie is good, the actors are talanted, I'm glad the main actors are Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, they really fit into the atmosphere, into their parts :)

books are ALWAYS better than the movie versions, i find... it doesn't matter what book or movie it is. personally, though i liked the movie twilight and am looking forward to seeing new moon this fall i think the movie was overrated. no offense to catherine hardwicke (the director) but she killed the magical aspect of the books. it doesn't quite translate the same way on screen. the books are MUCH better!

i agree with Melanie (Tigerkaetzchen), the 1922 film Nosferatu eine Symphonie des Grauens and bram stoker's dracula are amazing vampire films. but twilight is at least a positive influence on young teens, but i hope the original blood sucking, night roaming, NON-SPARKLY vampire comes back sometime soon.

the movied sucked because they paid little money for it and the producer didn't know twilight was a hit book. and in the movie they made edward more scary [shivers]
