Would it be better to make Valentine's Day a subcategory of a Love category? The reason why I ask is because there are other pictures that would not fit as well into a Valentine's category vs. a main Love category. For instance, two people walking hand-in-hand or two people kissing isn't necessarily a Valentine's category. Perhaps, there could be a few sub-categories under Love to clean up that category better, such as subcategories:
kissing
walking hand-in-hand
hearts
(and not all hearts are Valentine's hearts such as a heart-shaped cloud or flower)
caress and/or cuddling
(remember that picture of that little white puppy cuddling up to that girl's cheek?)

Just a thought.

Here's a few suggestions:
Desktop screenshots (for those of us creative enough to skin our OS's and use the various docks available).
Also, how about the various photo-editing/wallpaper-making programs like:
GIMP
Photoshop
Vue
Apophysis (Of course I am biased towards that one, just look at my profile)
Terragen
Bryce
etc.
There's more, but those are the ones I'm thinking of right now.
Maybe "Photo-editing" or "Digital creations" could be a new category, with the ones I mentioned being the subs?

I dont think a catagory for different kinds of photo editors would work it would just spread the art out more, adding a catagory specifically for fractals would help out alot tho.

Also the pictures that are actually painted(hehe you know with real paint)artworks could use thier own catagory that might help out with the 3d cg catagory.

And there is a lot of wall papers floating around with text on them they should be lumped into graffiti or a text catagory.

I do like the fractal idea. I guess the Apophysis/Bryce renderings fit just fine in the "Abstract" category. A "Traditional art" category would be nice for paintings as you mentioned. That would be great!

I want to suggest to rename the category Starcraft, into Starcraft Series. It is already a mix of Starcraft, Starcraft 2 and Starcraft: Ghost. But only the name Starcraft as category, may imply that it's all about the original Starcraft game only.

There is already a Warcraft Series category. That's good. I think the Starcraft category should be the same.

There are some sources a computer can get its images from. It goes similar to this...

Source:
1: Simply using a digital camera. (Real World or simply Photography)
2: Generating with computers ... (CG or Computer Graphics)
* 3D polygons/triangles. (Maya, Cinema4D)
* Voxels, they are 3D Pixel.
* 2D polygons/triangles. Or vector graphics. (PhotoShop, Paint.Net)
* Using a graphic tabled for "drawing". I think those are raster graphics. (PhotoShop, Paint.Net)

Now of course, those two sources can be blended. Here an example:

1: A tiger and a landscape, could be completely generated with computers.
2: A tiger and a landscape, could be a pure real world photo.
3: The tiger could be computer generated, put on real world landscape photo. T'is a blend!

Actually at this point, a filter could be nice. So that one can decide whether he/she wants a real world photo or something computer generated, or a mix of both.

Sorry, for making thing complicated again, but you know I try to stay scientific as much as I can.

... anyways, that filter could of course also filter Booby Girls and Pointless Violence ...

I would like to mention, the Architecture category. I upload a many Architecture wallpapers, but sometimes I dont if I should place a certain wallpaper in the Modern or Skyscraper category. Many we can get this part cleared up. Also I would like to see a a sun rise category, so it compliments the sunset wallpapers. Also for the relegion categrories, we should get all the relegions in the world, and get the correct spelling for each. ie Buddhism, Hinduism not Hindu. Also include Jaidism, and Sihkism as well. Might as well get all of the categories so know one feels left out. Cheers.

Hi, how about an 'Island' category as not all pics fit in beaches. Also an 'Autumn' Category as they don't fit into forest and have no real category. Then also a 'garden' category as some pictures don't fit into flowers or anything else as they are mostly greenery but are a garden. Wolves need a separate one, so do the cats that are lion, tiger, jaguar, ocelot etc, they are cats but different kind. What about fish like octopus, manta ray etc that are not really fish have have no where else to go. Also trains, we have cars, planes, boats, but nothing to place trains into....
Anyway, have just woken up so if I think of any more I will let you know. Thank you for asking our opinion though, it means a lot
