We take Copyright laws seriously, and our reporting system handles it quickly. The best way to report a copyright is to click on the Report This Wallpaper tab located under the picture and clicking on DMCA! This is the best way to go thru the proper channels to prove ownership. Leaving notice in a members Comment section doesn't always get results. Thanks!

I am very happy to now see that an admin has acknowledged this copyright violation. I am requesting that the image be removed from your server.

I have a question regarding some of my anime wallpapers that have been posted by other people here without my permission. With some of them, the watermark has been completely distorted and no other credit is given to me, and others the watermark is still in tact but no permission was given. Would these cases be legal to report under (cc) license, or is this strictly for original copyright owners (creators of the series)?
The last website I joined in order to have my wallpapers deleted from wouldn't do it, so that's why I ask here.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean..How are they your wallpapers if you are not the original copyright holder?...Did you create them using their character?...
Wallpapers and images that are uploaded as wallpapers are found all over the internet.
Some have been taken from copyrighted sites and altered (watermarks removed) and then circulated for others to find without any ownership markings or any way to know that they are copyrighted. Sometimes the uploader just doesn't realize the site is copyrighted when they find images they enjoy and want to share.
Please explain your images and we will determine whether you have ownership. Thanks!

I linked to two of my wallpapers that were posted here, and as you can see I obviously don't own Soul Eater or any of the other series or characters therein. However the wallpapers were created by me, and spent hours working on each one of them. I have links to the sites where I originally uploaded them, such as theotaku, minitokyo, and deviantart.

However the last site I appealed to claimed that since I wasn't part of the production studio that owned the anime series/characters, they wouldn't delete the wallpapers. I didn't know whether that would be the case here or not.

I've checked with our site owner, who handles copyrights, and he said if the art was completely created by you, then he would accept a claim to have it removed. If the character was drawn by someone else, you have no claim to it being your original and you would actually be violating the copyright laws. If you created the complete image, use the Report this Wallpaper tab under the wallpaper, and report under DMCA violation, and it will be remove quickly.
